Lillie's Room

Ok, so I've been busy and have not crafted lately! I am also going through withdrawls from no crafting. On a happy note, TODAY IS MY BDAY! So, I am diggin' in my "edit posts" and posting Lillie's room that was done a while back. Needless to say, it needs a makeover, yet again. Anyways....

This is Lillie's room. It is painted pink and I even sprayed glitter on the walls, so they sparkle! She is a total princess!

This bedding is from Target. The table was a fabulous find from an antique store for $45! The lamp and castle is from Homegoods.

The crystal lamp on the tall dresser was a wedding gift. I changed the shade and hot glued roses and added some crystals. The lamp close up is here. A little blurry due to cropping.

These are letters I got half off at Hobby Lobby. I bought some spray adhesive and applied some scrapbook paper... cute.

Isn't this awesome!? I cannot take credit for this in any way! Wyanne has an Etsy shop and I bought this from her. I love it.

I made this window treatment out of LOTS of tulle. The butterflies were something my mom had. :)

This... I also cannot take credit for. My dear friend's mom painted this HUGE mural for Lillie. It literally takes up half of her wall! Love this!

Unfortuately, Lillie's room is ready for another redo. Wonder if the princess theme will still be "in"?

Princess Leah...

One of my friends, Lexie, asked me to make a tutu for her daughter's bday party. And, since I love me some Lexie, I did. Here it is...

And, this probably 75 yards of tulle! Don't you love the sparkles??? Here is Leah in here tutu. Beautiful!

Sorry for no posts lately! I had a girl's weekend in Atlanta this past weekend and now I'm having a girl's weekend in Charleston this weekend! I also just recently found a job!!! Yay!!! So, I will be back to crafting soon....

Operation: Dog Sweater

Well, as some of you may know, Chewy got a BAD haircut. He hardly has any hair! :( He is a yorkiepoo, not a schnauzer. Not that I have anything against schnauzer's, but I bought a yorkiepoo. Ya got me? Anyway, I had this brilliant idea to make Chewy a dog sweater. Ya know, bc he's COLD. Btw, do you know how expensive dog sweaters are? Here is a pic of a sweater my last baby can no longer wear....

Picture Perfect

Ok, I don't even remember if I posted this a while back, so, just in case I didn't, I am gonna do a "recap"... This was the picture over the couch before...

Then, I made these silhouette's of my precious children, and dog. :)

Don't be jealous of the paint swatches to the right. Since this pic, we have painted the walls a creamy color and changed the lamps. Well, I thought at this time, there was not enough color on the wall. So, I have spent my morning doing this...

Ok, now that's "da bomb". Btw, people do not say "da bomb" anymore, but I don't care. I also like MC Hammer's "Can't Touch This". What do you think? Better? Oh, and here are the lamps I bought...

A Hot Glue Gun and a Third Degree Burn Later...

It all started with a birdhouse my Mom had in her garage. Apparently, my Dad, didn't hang it when instructed, so... lucky me!!! I brought it home, forgot about it, and then ended up at Hobby Lobby.

$12, a hot glue gun and a third degree burn later...

Prozac for dogs?

I walked into Goodwill on Saturday saw this...

and heard the angels sing! $15!! What a perfect bed for Chewy, our Yorkie poo. Poor Chewy had his first haircut at the groomer's and they cut him in a reverse doggy mullet! Miniature pincher from the back, Schnauzer from the front. He hates it so much, he even tried to commit suicide by running into the road. haha Poor guy. Hopefully, this will make him feel better, until his hair grows out... next year, if we are lucky! So, here it is....
